ULTRA carbon fiber extensions and Temp-Comp styli provide optimal weight, rigidity and thermal-stable attributes.

Initially developed for aerospace applications, these unique carbon fiber materials and composites are used in combination with titanium fittings for improved thermal-stability in fluctuating temperatures.

Interwoven carbon fibers are coiled at high density in several layers and directions, resulting in low bending and high torsional rigidity - nearly 10 times more rigid than a leading suppliers carbon fiber extensions.

Torsion Effect is the deformation in a member caused by a twisting moment. itp has developed a line of thermal stable carbon fiber extensions proven to have nearly 10 times the torsional rigidity as compared to that of a leading competitor. The ULTRA stiff thermal stable carbon fiber extension (length 200 mm by 11 mm diameter) deflected 0.060 um under a load of 0.2 N whereas a leading competitor's thermal stable carbon fiber of the same dimensions and under the same load deflected 0.540um- nearly 10 times more than ULTRA.
